Dad's Chili

This is by far the best chili that I have ever had. My dad would always make this when I was younger. My hubby loves it & its very easy to make!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 lb pork sausage
1 packet of Chili Seasoning
2 can light red kidney beans
1 can tomato sauce
1 small can tomato paste
1 can stewed tomatoes

Cook the ground beef and sausage. My hubby likes a lot of meat but if you don't, you can use 1/2 lb of the pork sausage. Make sure you drain well. Add meat to crock pot. Add chili seasoning. Pour in all canned ingredients with the liquid. DO NOT drain them. Stir evenly. Cook on high for at least 3-4 hrs. I usually make it around 10-11 am, & let cook until dinner time, stirring occasionally through out the day. This tastes great & is a very easy, low maintenance recipe. Top with shredded cheese and crackers if desired.

You will always have left overs for the hubby to take to work the next day! :)
