I saw this idea on Pinterest but the way they explained it DID NOT work. So here's how I did it. Do not try to use Glade plug-ins, it DOES NOT work, once you take the top off it doesn't snap back on. I tried to super glue it back on and that didn't work either. I used Febreze & Airwick.
Supplies:
* Scented oil plug-ins
* Scented Oil
(I used Walmart brand, they were .83 each.)
*Knife
Step 1:
Remove the top plastic part from the refill base. I used a knife to pry it off. Be careful, this could become dangerous! :) DO NOT pull the wick out of the plastic part, pop the whole plastic part off. The Febreze Noticeables were very easy to pop off.
Step 2:
Wash the refill container out with water. Let air dry a couple seconds. Pour in your desired scented oil. I filled the container almost all the way full.
Step 3:
Snap the plastic part with wick back on the refill container. Put into warmer and plug in. Easy, Simple, CHEAP!!
*I was a little reluctant that this would actually work, but it does. It smells as good as the refills you buy from the store. Its so much cheaper and you have way more of a selection on scents to choose from. :)
When I followed the directions I found on Pinterest they said to pull the wick out, when I did this is what happened. DO NOT pull the wick out, next time I will know!!
